Aquanaut exists so water stops being the thing that shrinks your trip. Fill it from almost any freshwater tap, fountain or stream and its two-stage filter goes to work instantly. The 0.01-micron hollow-fiber membrane physically strains out bacteria, microplastics and sediment, tested by SGS and TÜV to remove 99.999999% of bacteria, and the carbon stage clears chlorine and the taste that comes with it. A note on honesty: what it does not do
Like all hollow-fiber filters, Aquanaut is not designed to remove viruses or dissolved heavy metals and salts on its own. For everyday tap water and the great majority of travel destinations, the real threats are bacteria and particulates, which is exactly what the two-stage system targets.
